Bugger

Windy as hell today, swerved the early run after pilates as it looked mental out there.

Treadmill turned up just after lunch. Fuck that was heavy. Set it up by around 3pm and working by 4pm.

Looks ok. Massive compared to how I thought it would be but all in all looks solid.

Wasted no time, did a 30 min run at between 8 & 7.30/mm. Felt like sprinting at first but once settled in wasn't too bad. HR for pace was roughly right, up to 147 bpm for 7.30 pace at the end.

Leg was not happy. Started with single insole in each. After couple of minutes added 2 extra on left to make 3:1 ratio. Much better but still not right. Interestingly zero feel while not running just slight annoying dull ache when running.  I will try and run tomorrow after that, will push on now and see what happens.  If it blows I'll just have a week off and see physio - we are at that stage. I can't do much more stretching and rolling and it's not going anywhere.

3 insoles felt mental standing up but while running it did feel more solid so I will give it another go tomorrow.  Fuck I'll try anything at this stage.

Boy got home from school late and doing a progressive 3 miles on it now. Hopefully this will really help save him some time when weather shite like this.

If I can run OK tomorrow (will do an easy) bike Sat and run long Sunday. Weeks been a bit of a shitter to be honest but it happens.
