Man that hurts

Adding quad DOMS to 'the list'. They are properly sore. At various times on today's run different things ached!

3 miles progressively down to 8:15 pace, nice and easy. That pace is actually good considering.

Was pretty knackered by the end, that's 5 straight days with 3 on the plan.  Feel OK considering and tomorrow will be active rest (i.e pilates and bike). I'll do some weights tonight.

Parkrun on Saturday and hopefully be able to hold hard tempo pace of 165 bpm for 15 mins (well, lets face it - it's going to be more like 19 mins lol).

Couple of steady runs around that so hopefully nice and recovered and taking on the miles to start feeling easier.

HR is pretty high on runs - wind and hills are obliterating it so conditioning is way way off and that needs to return but in fairness that is pretty easy to train.  Day 3 and we are on target so all is good right now.

Looking back to last time, same sort of thing happened.  Just got really tired, recovered well and came back stronger consistently.  I just need that luck.  First track race is a real possibility.

Weight at 11.6 which is top end of any form (3 hr marathon shape) so if I can work it down to sub 11 I'll be lowest for some years and back to what I need to be to start looking at being in run shape 'proper'.  To run on track that needs to be 10.7 really so a long, long way to go but hopefully with some miles in the bank that will be a possibility.
