Bit the bullet and checked in to see Eric at Bodybalance. The location gave him some concern but he didn't think it was a stressy, most likely to be combination of bone density, calf strength and (lack of) ankle flexibility putting too much load on tibia and winding up with a break down somewhere. Must admit that really made sense as the issues came mainly after rolling my ankle 3 times (it's still slightly swollen). Result was get an MRI booked in, rule out stress / bone issues and move forward from there. No cycling or running until we were sure what the issues was.

MRI scan last Friday showed no sign of bone stress so good news. Plan now is to improve flexibility and strength and hit the cycling. Will check in with Eric in a couple of weeks and get the all clear to start running again touch wood.

Hard work being sidelined but I must admit I've been pretty much pissed or hanging out of a kebab for two weeks so I wouldn't have got much productivity done anyway so if it's going to happen timing is right now.

Fire is still in the belly. I do want to get back. Know it'll be hard but it is what it is.
