Long time no post

Wow, nothing since Tuesday! Well, Wednesday I took as a rest day. The calf was feeling better but Tuesday's swim was very tired and laboured.

Thursday got out for a good 40 on the bike. Got a bit lost and it was VERY windy out there but had a good ride overall. Started feeling a little jaded but got into it nicely and settled into a good pace. Absolutely smashed a few miles along the A10 - between 22 and 24 mph which was nice!

Stole my Caxton-Cambourne KOM back with a very good 6.12 for 21.7 mph net uphill - NICE !!
18.8 mph feeling pretty good for 2 hours is good right now.
Friday tinkered with the Tri bike and had a couple of blasts on it while messing with seat height and angles. Stem still too long so need to address that but did get it on the turbo. Nice 0.5 mile blast at 25 mph - good from me as I am not that stable on it :)

Friday evening got out for just over 11 miles with Stevie B at 7.30 pace. Nice social run and felt good. Calf felt tight until 4 miles then was fine till Houghton hill. Very happy with that, longest run for some time and plenty to build on.

Saturday was again feeling jaded and just did an hour. 18.85 mph for the blast feeling easy and took a large part of it very slow. Got a surprise KOM which was nice!

Resting today as calf feels really sore. I'll do some S&C on it with some rolling and ice to give it best chance of healing. Feels like it did last time when time and X-training helped massively. Feeloing pretty fit at the minute just need to get some consistent running in and should start to pull together. Will swim and TT tomorrow by the looks of it.

Marshalled Bourn To Run today - nice race but looked slow up the front. Not sire of times but guessing 37-38 mins won it.

Big shout out to Monkey Boy - 37.04 for 10k - near 2 mn pb ahowing consistent consistency works. Brooksey for a big late season 5k pb and keeping fingers xd for Mr T at world duathlon - no results online yet.
