Treading lightly

Just under 10 last night at #chubclub with Rich & Dan.  Did a couple at 6.50 pace feeling crazy easy before meeting and then averaged just under 7.30's for the rest. Stopped for a Coke at the Coop then jogged back.  Foot was hurting like hell which is a shitter, think it was the trainers as no pain whatsoever beforehand.

Good stretch last night including the Ming ones and went to bed feeling better. Pilates this morning and pain has almost gone away. New kicks turned up - Pegasus Turbo 35s - the old ones - much more comfortable so will switch to running on these to see how that goes.

Rest of today I will do some strength work plus some more Ming stretches, ice and massage.  Can't see me fitting a run in today so hopefully tomorrow will be much better after a rest.

Not ideal but we're in the injury prevention / niggle management phase so don't expect any results before this is on the mend. 

At the minute considering a return to base to build some conditioning. Possibly pushing too hard has caused the issue. Plus can run pretty quick all the time now so maybe stepping up to bigger volume would add some adaptions for less risk.  Will see how quick we can iron this out.

Racing Saturday whatever the weather so fingers crossed a decent result for a solid months training since last one.
