2 steps forward etc. etc

Felt ok tonight pre-run.  Then I warmed up :(

Hip flexor ached from the off.  Manged to drag myself around 5 miles. Admittedly, not as bad as some previous runs but it was def tired and lost a bit of power through the hip (like landing on a dead spot).

Bit pissed off as was hoping to build but have to be patient and remain on the rehab plan.

100% no run tomorrow - S&C work and plety of stretching.

On the plus side, 7.52/mm felt easy and HR of around 143 bpm is under control.  Legs felt pretty good otherwise.

Will run easy Thursday and attempt something Friday if all OK.  Barring disaster I'll keep pushing 2-3 day streaks until it holds up.

Strength work mainly pilates and some weighted lifts / step ups / squats.  Bounding once I'm 2-3 weeks into training.

Considered throwing an entry in to Eastern Champs indoors in Feb but won't be anywhere near fit enough or healthy enough by then.
