Easy does it

Easy run today. Just under 10 at just under 8:20/mm.  HR best yet on an easy run - 137 bpm. Felt very achey beforehand, started slow but felt better as it went on.  Few grumbles but at 5 miles it clicked into place and the niggles went and the pace felt much easier.

Tired by the end but it was a good day out there today.

Need to keep on top of the rolling and stretching now. This is the sort of time that I start to sack it off through over confidence.

Also need to bring in the S&C work this week.  The calves & achilles are still too weak.

Looking forward to the mile on Sunday. Not entirely sure what to expect, just need to get out there and have a go.  It should open up the legs a bit for the first 5k of the year though.

Weight post run was lowest yet - although only just at 10 st 12.5 lbs but that's 14 lbs since March and we're now regularly in the right ball park.  Also, after ruining myself all weekend on the booze and cutting the miles back last week I'll take that!

Standard tempo tomorrow, that run really needs to remain a fixture in the diary if I'm going to progress.
